Knitting is a fun hobby which can enable you to create lots of clothes, accessories, homewares or toys, but it does come with some skill required. There are lots of challenges we face when knitting up a new project, from getting the tension of the yarn right through to ensuring there are no holes, gaps or dropped stitches.
Knitting in the round is a difficult skill to master and can be even trickier if you end up twisting the wool. Twisting stitches can cause the pattern to end up not working out, so it is important you check that everything is correct!
Finishing off your project, you will need to make sure you cast off properly and weave in any loose ends from where you have changed balls of yarn, or added a new colour. Weaving in the ends gives a neat finish, and casting off properly stops your work from unravelling.
